Good Afternoon Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather. Time is flying by so fast. I am in disbelief that April is almost over. It feels like everything just started. As you know, we have begun our first-ever virtual program for Project HYPE in February. So, we decided to take this previous weekend lesson to the African American Museum in Hempstead, Long Island. We are always interested in finding fun and interactive ways to teach all of our mentees. If you are looking for something to do this summer, I would highly recommend the African American Museum. It is a great place to take your children and families to learn about different things about black culture they may not have learned in school. This place is affordable, fun, and safe (COVID-19 Protocols and restrictions) for all ages. Check out the images below to get a glimpse of what it is like in the Museum.
On another note, time is ticking. We are one week away from our First Annual Male Empowerment Conference 2021. If you have not purchased your ticket, what are you waiting for? Tickets are still on sale and available on Eventbrite today. (Link to Eventbrite located below this blog) As iterated in previous blogs, we have so much in store for our attendees. There will be guest panelists, entertainment, raffles, a special surprise, and everything is done virtually. So, there is no need to leave the house. All you have to do is get out of bed, clean yourself up a little bit, and throw on a shirt. What is the harm in that? We are so excited for our First Annual Conference, and it will be the first of many to come. We hope and look forward to seeing all youth and adult men at this year’s conference. That is all for now. I hope you all enjoy this event. Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram (@Project_HYPEinc and @MaleEmpowerment.HYPE) and receive daily updates.
Talk to you all next week!
